If you are relatively handy and don't mind doing a little grunt work yourself, I often provide murphy bed kits for people who want to save a little money and do some of the work themselves.  Assembly is easier with two people but possible with just one person.  All kits created using the Create-a-Bed Murphy Bed hardware sets and built according to all Create-a-Bed specifications.

What I do:

• Purchase all materials
• Cut all pieces to size, drill holes for hardware, fabricate decorative panels and moldings
• Prime or prep for paint/stain
• Deliver to you  (Pittsburgh area only)
• Give advice on finishing/painting (I can also provide you with high quality paints and stains that are only commercially available - at a discounted rate) (any Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore color available)
• Be available to answer any and all of your questions as you assemble and complete the project yourself.

What you do:

• Paint or stain all of the individual pieces
• Attach hardware and assemble (detailed assembly instructions provided) (I will also be available should you have any questions)
• Enjoy the fruits of your labor
• Save money!
